The Sand Band were in the studio and playing live on Robert Elms’ BBC London show on Monday 19th July 2010. You can listen again here:
Zane Lowe played the new Suzukis’ single Reasons For Leaving in full for the first time last night (6/7/10) !!!
He played it as the 3rd and final track of his ‘Mics Down’ section and claimed it sounded a lot stronger than the others he played by The Middle East and Biffy Clyro. Good stuff huh?!
You can get this exclusive limited edition of “Butterfly House” from any of the following outlets:

The lads' brilliant new video for their single 'Built In' is on our You Tube Channel and also in our video section here. Feel free to check it out as much as you like! The video was made by the band's friend Dominic Foster and features loads of their other mates wearing crazy masks. It really is rather good!

Unfortunately, The Suzukis have had to cancel their free London gig tonight. Bummer! The lads are really gutted to have to do this but there's no way they can play. Lead singer Chris has a broken jaw! Rock and Roll indeed!! Hopefully Chris will be back and ready to play again soon so keep checking back here for details. As soon as we know of any more dates for the boys to play, we'll be sure to let you know. Also, don't forget the lads' single 'Built In' is available to download from iTunes from today!!
Built In by The Suzukis is listed for pre-order on iTunes at the moment but please take no notice of the price. The silly peeps at Apple have made it seem like we are asking you to part with £7.99 of your hard
earned cash for just two tracks!! This isn't the case at all. Come Monday, when the single is officially released it will be available at the normal rate of 79p per track (or one charge of £1.58 if you wanna buy the two track full single....which you totally should. The B Side 'Back At The Factory' is excellent too!!)"

Yep that’s correct. We definitely said “Free Gig”. To help celebrate the release of their single ‘Built In’, The Suzukis will be playing at London’s Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen on Monday 22nd March 2010. They will be joined by Liverpool band The Renno’s as well as special guests.
If you’re around come check them out!!!!

Released on March 22nd ‘Built In’ is The Suzukis’ debut single and a scathing demolition of celebrity culture to boot. Cutting lyrics over wall of sound guitars and over driven bass make for an exhilarating listen that stands the band out from both the current crop of limp Indie bands and also the faux-emo punk from the US.
It’s official, Zane Lowe is a Suzukis fan. Fact.
He played ‘Built In’ (to be released 22nd March 2010) again during his Radio 1 show on 2nd March 2010 and he introduced the track by saying:
“'Proper edgy, edgy indie punk rock and roll, it came out of nowhere from The Suzukis on the Deltasonic label and it rattles along at 4:14 of high energy proto-punk, I love it.”
After playing the track in it’s entirety Zane went on to say:
