The Coral

The Coral are a band who surely need no introduction. For eight years now, the band have been very much in the public’s musical conscience thanks to their distinctive musical style. Gathering along the way a huge live following and are still very much critically acclaimed.

To name but a few of the band’s achievements their self-titled debut album was nominated for the 2002 Mercury Music Prize and later voted the fourth best album of the year by NME. Also, in 2005 the band had the second most played song on UK Radio with their single ‘In The Morning’.

From Jerry Lee Lewis to At The Drive-In, via The Stooges and The Sex Pistols, there is a lineage of rock and roll bands united by the same primeval energy and visceral power.


THE SAND BAND

The Sand Band is songwriter/producer David McDonnell and long time musical partner Scott Marmion.
 
The debut album was written, recorded and mixed by them at home and is influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Jackson C Frank, right up to more modern day stuff such as Spiritualized, The Verve, Elliot Smith and Calexico among others.
